OUR STORY

Famous Hair was originally created in 2016 by a mother and son who had a passion to bring Afro-Caribbean hair styling to the Bromley area.
At the time the area had no hair specialists that were experienced in different ethnicity hair types.
Seeing this they made it their mission to ensure that each and every person, no matter their age, race or gender had the opportunity to receive the 'Red carpet treatment' they truly deserve.
With business thriving and the need for the community to be served being answered, all seemed to be going well but in August 2021 things took a drastic turn.
In October 2021 it was announced by the family that the owner, mother and friend too many (Theresa) had passed away after her short battle with Cancer. The family immediately decided to bring the business to a halt and close it down.
However all was not lost because in 2023 her son decided to open a new business with her legacy in mind.
This time around, him and his new team are bringing an exciting spin to the traditional view of hair and beauty salons.

At Famous Hair, we have an a wide range of hair services which our highly skilled stylist's are able to carry out !!
To book an appointment. Simply click the book now icon under the stylist's name for their booking page and select a service followed by an available time slot.
It's always best to book as it guarantees you a time slot as the queue for Walk-ins tends to be very long and does not guarantee you will be seen on the day.

!!please note prices could be subject to change due to some clients requiring more time than anticipated!!
Please take a moment to review the information below:
1. PRE-APPOINTMENT PREP:
• Please ensure your hair is freshly washed!
NO GEL
NO OILS/GREASE
NO PRODUCT
This is to ensure the best results.
2. RESCHEDULING
• If you wish to reschedule, kindly provide a notice of 72hrs (3days in advance). If not done, another deposit will be required when booking another appointment.
3. HEALTH & SAFETY
• Please inform Slim via email (slim@famoushair.co.uk) or at least 48hrs before your appointment of any allergies to products or any preferences.
4. ATTENDANCE RULES

Please be mindful and respectful towards all members of staff. Rudeness will not be tolerated and will result in the cancellation of the booking!!!

For everyone’s peace of mind, we take before-and-after photos. This is standard practice to make sure we have a clear record of your service and results. They’re confidential and never shared without your permission
• No plus ones.
• If you arrive early, please wait in your car or outside as we are short of a waiting area at the moment.
• There are many fast food shops along the parade that you may also choose to wait at.
5. LATE POLICY
• As stated on the T&C’s on the page, you have a 10 minute grace period. After 10 minutes, a £10 late fee will be added to your service upon arrival. Being 20 minutes late will result in cancellation of your appointment to avoid disruption of the remaining schedule.
6. ADD-ONS

For additional services, each client is entitled to 2 (TWO) Add-ons

This includes washing of the hair (shampoo only) and additional styling (stitches and other shape partings)

Please note Add-ons will cost extra from the original price!!
However, if you anticipate being quite late email (slim@famoushair.co.uk) to inform Slim. Failure to alert Slim of lateness or your inability to attend is considered a ‘NO SHOW’, resulting in being banned from booking with Slim again.
