Famous Hair was founded in 2016 by a mother and son with a passion for bringing Afro-Caribbean hairstyling to Bromley. At the time, the area had no specialists experienced in different hair types. They set out to make sure every person, whatever their age, race or gender, could get the red carpet treatment they deserve.

The business thrived. Then, in October 2021, the family announced that the owner — a mother, and a friend to many — Theresa, had passed away after a short battle with cancer. The family closed the salon.

In 2023, her son reopened with her legacy in mind. He and his new team are bringing a fresh spin to the traditional barbershop and salon.
